Launcher Construction

Seems the Ball Bearing Spring Launcher is the main apparatus in this experiment. Therefore after purchased the Ball Bearing and Spring. 1 of members of Group 4, Lim Shing Yeu was constructing on the Launcher at Robocon lab which located at Block C, Level 2.
Materials that are using for construction are as follow:
1) Aluminium
2) Rivet
Tools that are using for construction are as follow:
1) Metal Saw
2) Rivet Gun
3) Driller
4) Lock Plier

The first Launcher tooks aproximately 3 hours to be done and was tested. Reason that found out the first Launcher was not efficient was:
1) Ball Bearing flying different direction everytime it lunched.
2) The distance of Ball Bearing fly was not constant (large difference of distance) for the same launch.
3) The spring cannot fit properly inside the launcher as the gap inside is big.

After knowning the problems on First Launcher after the test. Member of contructing the Launcher decided to build Second Launcher as to correct all the errors to the minimum and maximize the efficiency of the Launcher. Time of constructing and testing took was approximated 4 hours.

After constructed it and tested. Eventhough the outlooks was not so good, but found out that it is more efficient compared to the First Launcher and decided to use it as the main apparatus for group project.

Total day of construction and testing: Approximate 3 days
